Baseball Falls to Central Connecticut, 11-2

The Stags lost 11-2 to Central Connecticut today at Balf-Savin Field in New Britain, Conn. The loss drops Fairfield to 4-10 on the year.

Blue Devils’ hurler Ken Kerski quieted the Stag bats, allowing just two hits in five innings of work. Fairfield played sloppily in the field, making five errors.

Fairfield freshman Rick Piccirillo got the loss, yielding 11 runs in four innings, only four of which were earned.
