Halftime Update: 32-25 FU

• At the half from the Harbor: Fairfield 34, Niagra 25.
• Herbie adds both shots to put FU up 32-45.
• Shake gives it up to Marty O'Sullivan, who finds Herbie Allen. With time waning down, Allen drives and is fouled with :01.9 to go, putting a solid free throw shooter on the line. (That's gotta hurt for Niagra)
• Air-ball shot from Brooks goes out of bounds. This gives FU the last possession of the half.
• Shake and bake! Van Schaick hits a three-pointer to put Fairfield up seven. Stags lead 32-25.
• Stags take a T.O. with :57.3 on the clock.
• A. Johnson and Marty are doing a nice job in the paint rebounding against a foward-strong Niagra squad.
• Anthony Johnson (a focal point of the FU offense in the first half) comes in for Mamadou.
• Han called on a foul on after Brooks drives. Brooks hits the both. 29-25 Stags.
• Brown is down for a while. He's on the line and appears to be fine. After shaking it off for a few second, he misses the one-and-one shot, but the Eagles retain possession on a long rebound.
• Han drives the lane but is stripped. A foul is called on Mamadou on the ensuing Purple Eagles' fast break.
• Reverse lay-in by Cliff Brown off of the in-bound pass for a quick basket. 29-23 Stags with 2:30 to go.
