• Gaels' forward Justin Marshall grabs an offensive rebound and puts it back in. Stags 15-12
• Marty recovers nicely with a sweet lay in. Minutes later after a great D stand, Greg Nero hits a post shot. 15-10 Stags
• Drive move uncontested by Prodanovich leads to a nice floater. It's down to 11-10 Stags
• A textbook, "Hoosiers-esque" post move by Marty O'Sullivan leads to a missed open lay-up. What else is new.
• Crowd fav. Mamdou checks in for Rich Flemming. And all rejoice.
• Clark finally gets the ball - he killed the Stags last time they met. 11-8 Stags.
• Crazy play where Jon Han gets the ball stripped a few times, realizes the shot clock is winding down and heaves a 3 which clearly hits the rim, but the ref called a shot clock violation.
• Interesting to note that the two big men for Iona - Anthony Bruin and Devon Clark have not seen too many looks. Forward Alejo Rodriguez has 4 points already off open looks down-low.
• Tough break on D as a Nero block leads to a turnover for FU and a put in for Iona, followed up by a turnover and a block foul on Van Schaick. Thus far the Stags have looked strong on offense, but lackadaisical and undisciplined on D. 11- 6 Stags.
