Tip of the cap

First things first: a special thank you to all of our readers. Tom, Chris, and I appreciate it more than you know. We nearly reached 200 hits tonight - a record for the Mirror Sports Blog. The fact that you've made a choice to keep checking our blog and stick with our coverage means a lot to us. After all, it is the weekend and we are only a college paper. You're the heart of this blog.

So let's do it all again tomorrow, shall we?

If you're interested, here's our last bit of work for the night:

Interview Siena's Coach Mitch - Fairfield's most successful men's basketball coach, although Terry recruited the players Mitch won with in '86 & '87. There's never been a Fairfield men's basketball coach who has left Fairfield to go to a better job. You can look it up. Terry O'Connor (fired); Mitch (fired); Cormier (quit); Tim (fired). Let's hope Cooley can break the 30 year streak & leave Fairfield one day for a bigger program. Every other MAAC team has had at least 1 coach move up the ranks to a bigger program for the past 30 years. Heck, even Dino Gaudio is coaching Wake Forest!
