WHAT TO WATCH FOR
MOMENTUM BUILDERS: Both the Peahens and the Stags have struggled of late, so look for each to try and find a rhythm early. Coming into Sunday’s game, Saint Peter’s has lost two in a row and Fairfield has lost four of its last five. At this point in conference play, teams can’t afford to go on such slides.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS: The Stags were winning by nine points with less than seven minutes to play on Friday, but ultimately lost to Siena. Despite shooting only 34.8 percent from the field, the Stags were in contention throughout the game. However, if they want to finish on Sunday, and finish on top, they cannot allow the Peahens to continually creep back into the game.
