In his second ever meet as a Stag, sophomore Drew Kingman grabbed the spotlight by breaking three school records.
His first mark was taken in the 200m breaststroke, which he won with a time of 2:33:74. Next he tackled the 400m individual medley, smashing the old time by more than three seconds (4:50:33). Finally, Kingman worked in conjunction with Tom Kozlowski ’07, Sean McGonigle ’09 and Matt Rimmer ’09 to secure a time of 1:42:46 in the 200m freestyle relay.
On the boards,
For the women, Katherine Yee ’08 took first in the 1 meter and 3 meter, followed by Jennifer Silva ’08 in third for both events. Taylor Stecko ’10 snagged first place in the men’s 3 meter as well as second in the 1 meter, while Russ Laub ’07 took third for both.
Other big female winners for the day included Brittany Hunter ’07, Jennifer Masi ’07, Liz Lawlor ’08 and Rachel Waldstein ’08.
In addition to Kingman and the other members of the 200m freestyle relay, Rob Devine ’08 and Tom Scappaticci ’07 also showed well.-Michelle
