WHAT TO WATCH FOR
FAIRFIELD DEFENSE VS. NIAGARA OFFENSE: Fairfield is first in the MAAC in scoring defense, allowing 65.8 ppg. Niagara has one of the league’s most potent offenses, averaging 74.5 ppg. The Stags will look to come out strong and smother the Purple Eagles early, while executing on offense as well.
FOUR-GAME STREAK: Look for Fairfield to ride the momentum from its latest hot streak. Up against a top-notch scoring team however, the Stags cannot falter on offense and go minutes on end without scoring.
